This is a great project to make for your home or someone you know that's moving into a new home. This is an adorable address plaque that you can personalize any way you'd like. We used a beautiful font as well as a cute flower from a file in the Easter Collection. I love mixing fonts and files together into projects.

  • Cricut Maker or Other Die Cutting Machine
  • Navy Blue Permanent Vinyl
  • Transfer Tape
  • Weeding Tools
  • Measuring Tape
  • Wooden Stake
  • Wooden Plaque
  • Coral Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Wood Glue
  • Makers Gonna Learn Font Used: Butterfly Kisses

How to Make This Project

  1. Paint your wood pieces.
  2. Measure your wood piece and size your file and font word in Design Space or the software of your machine to fit well onto it.
  3. Load in your mat, set your material, and let your machine cut.
  4. Once cut weed your image and apply transfer tape to it.
  5. Carefully position and apply your vinyl to it.
  6. Burnish all the vinyl down well, then slowly peel the transfer tape straight back.
  7. Once the vinyl has adhered, attach the painted wood stake to the back of the plaque using wood glue.
  8. Once dry, display outside.
