You will love making this subway font art project. We used a ton of beautiful fonts from Makers Gonna Learn to create this. We also have a great video breaking this tutorial down step by step. Head over to the video section of the site and search "subway", you won't be disappointed! You can personalize this project to fit you and your family, that's the beauty of fonts.

How to Make This Project

  1. Measure your frame in Design Space and add that same sized square and change the color to white. This will make a great template for you to design your font project.
  2. We used several fonts to create our quote. Play around with the words and phrases until you get it how you like it. This will take some time, be patient.
  3. Once you have everything the way you want it, delete the white template box you made and weld the whole design together.
  4. Load your mat, set your material, and let the Cricut cut.
  5. Once cut burnish your vinyl well before weeding, this will help!
  6. After you weeded your vinyl add transfer tape and remove the backing after burnishing.
  7. Carefully position your vinyl where you'd like it to go on your frame. Burnish well then slowly remove your transfer tape.
