I love decorative towels, and so does my mom! It doesn't have to be mother's day to surprise your mom with a thoughtful handmade gift. Getting a simple towel and using some fun iron-on can transform a towel into art. I love the way this turned out. It's a fun way to give back to mom. We used a beautiful cut file from the mom and dad collection for this one.

  • Cricut Maker or Other Die Cutting Machine
  • Weeding Tools
  • Measuring Tape
  • Decorative Towel
  • Pink Glitter Iron-On
  • Cricut EasyPress or Heat Press or Iron
  • EasyPress Mat or Towel

How to Make This Project

  1. Measure your folded towel and size your file in Design Space or the software of your machine to fit well onto it.
  2. Load in your mat, set your material, and let your machine cut. While cutting, now is a good time to preheat your EasyPress.
  3. Once cut, weed your image.
  4. Lay your towel onto your EasyPress Mat and position your Iron-On where you'd like it to go.
  5. Heat to adhere. Once your Iron-On has cooled, peel off the transfer sheets and enjoy!
