This is great Valentine's Day home decor with a cute file from our Sign Collection! We used Iron-On to make this wood plaque permanent. I love the look of this sign, and I hope you make it yourself this year.

  • Cricut Maker
  • Cricut StandardGrip Mat
  • Cricut Iron-On in Black and Pink Glitter Iron-On
  • Small Wood Canvas
  • White Wash Pickling Stain
  • Paper Towels
  • Cricut EasyPress 2, 6” x 7”
  • Measuring Tape
  • Weeding Tool Set
  • Disposable Gloves

How to Make This Project

  1. Take your white wash stain and apply 1-2 coats onto your wood canvas.
  2. While the stain is drying, measure your wood canvas and size your file in Design Space.
  3. Load your mat, set your material, and let the Cricut cut!
  4. When the Cricut is done cutting unload your mat and weed the negative Iron-on from your cut design.
  5. Repeat the process with your glitter Iron-On.
  6. Preheat your EasyPress.
  7. When your wood canvas is completely dry preheat the wood and apply your first layer of Iron-On where you’d like it to be.
  8. Heat the first layer, remove the transfer paper, place your glitter Iron-On, apply your transfer paper back down, and heat again.
  9. Remove all your transfer paper to reveal your amazing Valentine’s Day Project!
