This is a super fun spin on a regular canvas project. You can make really cute room decor without getting too messy in the craft room. We really took this project up a notch by hot gluing some silk flowers and branches onto this canvas project. This file is a new one from the Makers Choice Collection!

  • Cricut Maker
  • Cricut Gray Iron-On
  • StandardGrip Cutting Mat
  • Cricut EasyPress 2, 10"x 12"
  • Cricut EasyPress Mat
  • Canvas
  • Silk Flowers and Branches
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Weeding Tool Set
  • Measuring Tape

How to Make This Project

  1. Open your file in Design Space and size it to fit well onto your canvas. Be sure to size it intentionally to leave room on the side for hot gluing your flowers!
  2. Once sized load your first mat, mirror your image, set your material, and let the Cricut cut.
  3. Weed your cut image and heat up your EasyPress.
  4. Lay your canvas onto the EasyPress mat and place your Iron-On where you’d like it to go. Heat your Iron-On, applying firm pressure.
  5. While still warm, slowly peel off the transfer sheets to reveal your Iron-On.
  6. Now move on to your silk flowers. Lay them out how you would like them. Once you like the positioning, hot glue them all down.
