We love using multiple layers in Iron-On projects. It takes every project up a notch and adds some flair. I wanted to make a fun tote bag for a little girl and I knew I wanted to use many different colors of HTV. This fun file is from the Kids Collection!

  • Die Cutting Machine
  • Different Colors of Pink Iron-On
  • Weeding Tools
  • Measuring Tape
  • Tote Bag
  • EasyPress or Heat Press or Iron
  • EasyPress Mat or Towel
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Pink Boa

How to Make This Project

  1. Measure your bag and size your file in your machine's software to fit well onto it.
  2. Make sure you change the color of one of your layers in your layers panel if they aren't already separate.
  3. Load your first mat, set your material, and let your machine cut. This is a good time to preheat your EasyPress.
  4. Cut your other mast. Once cut weed your images. Place your bag onto your EasyPress Mat and position your largest layer of Iron-On where you'd like it to go.
  5. Heat to adhere while applying firm pressure. Once cooled, peel off your transfer sheet.
  6. Place your second layer, replace the transfer sheet, and repeat the adhering process.
  7.  Once you've applies your Iron-On, hot glue your boa around the top of your bag to finish it off!
