We made this project to place on our garden flag pole this holiday season and we're all so excited to see it hung this year. We used a piece of burlap to create this banner, and it turned out so cute! I can't wait to show you how we created this project, I hope you enjoy!

  • Cricut Maker
  • Cricut StandardGrip Mat
  • Cricut Iron-On in Black, Green, and Red
  • Burlap Fabric
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Dowel
  • Cricut EasyPress 2
  • Cricut EasyPress Mat
  • Measuring Tape
  • Weeding Tool Set
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors

How to Make Pennant Banner

  1. Cut your Burlap how large you would like your banner to be. Be sure to leave several extra inches to be able to cut it and make that little flag detail on the bottom.
  2. Once cut, measure the space you have to work with then size your file in Design Space to fit well onto it.
  3. Load your mat, set your material, and let your Cricut cut.
  4. Once cut, weed all of your colors and preheat your EasyPress.
  5. Lay your first layer of HTV down and adhere. Peel off your transfer sheet. Repeat the process with your other colors of Iron-On.
  6. Now hot glue the top few inches of your banner onto the back to be able to slip your dowel through, or so you can slip your banner onto your garden flag pole!
  7. (optional) Then hot glue your ribbon onto your dowel so you can hang your flag!
