I love ironing onto wood. This is an adorable project you need to make to up your kitchen decor game. We used an adorable file from the Makers Collection. This project makes adorable home decor. Check out how we made it.

  • Cricut Maker or Other Die Cutting Machine
  • Weeding Tools
  • Measuring Tape
  • Small Wood Slab
  • Black and pink Iron-On
  • Cricut EasyPress or Heat Press or Iron
  • White Paint
  • PaintBrush

How to Make This Project

  1. Paint your wood piece white. You may need to add a few coats.
  2. Measure your wood slab and size your file in Design Space or the software of your machine to fit well onto it.
  3. Load in your mat, set your material, and let your machine cut. While cutting, now is a good time to preheat your EasyPress. You may want to cut this out on two mats, but we chose to add 2 colors to one mat.
  4. Once cut, weed your images.
  5. Lay your wood slab down and position your Iron-On where you'd like it to go. You could probably heat both layers at one time as long as nothing is overlapping.
  6. Heat to adhere. Once your Iron-On has cooled, peel off the transfer sheet and enjoy!
