If you're ready for summer you will love making this fun summer banner with your Cricut. We transformed a summer cut file into a cute banner and I can't wait to use it at our next summer cookout. This was so easy to make, you will love reading the full tutorial.

  • Cricut Maker
  • Blue Rope
  • Hole Punch
  • Assorted Colors of Cardstock
  • White Cardstock
  • Cricut StandardGrip Mat
  • Measuring Tape
  • Scissors
  • ATG Gun

How to Make This Project

  1. Once you have the file in Design Space contour out the hello and make sure your banner is how big you'd like it to be.
  2. Once sized cut out your banner pieces in the colors of cardstock you'd like.
  3. Now measure the back of your banner pieces and size a square in Design Space and cut them out of white card stock large enough to fit on the back of your banner pieces.
  4. Use your ATG gun to adhere all of the pieces together, including the center pieces of the letters like the 'U' and the "R".
  5. Now take your hole punch and punch out a hole on each side of the banner pieces.
  6. Once that's complete simply weave them into your blue rope and cut off the excess.
